Myte Myke
has hundreds of set up questions
and controlled features that
allow flexible design of software functions.
SECURITY SETUP
Myte Myke has several levels of
security
 | You can assign a login password |
| You can assign a password to each application menu |
| You can control the application options that appear on the menu by
security level |
| You can control access to each program by operator |
| You can assign a security clearance level to each option in a pull down
menu. For example don't allow records to be deleted for lower security
levels |

You can customize menus to your own needs
| Options can be added, moved, deactivated or deleted |
| You can create your own menus |
| You can add non
Myte Myke programs to the
menu, like word processors, etc |
| The menu title can be changed |
PULL DOWN MENUS
All programs use the integrated windows pull down menu to control option
selection
| Options on pull down menus can be
controlled by security level |
| Menu option descriptions can be modified |
| Options can be deactivated |
MAINTENANCE AUDIT TRAIL
| You have the option to create an AUDIT FILE of all changes made to each
data base. The log file captures the before and after image, (for each field
that is changed) date, time, and operator that made the change. |
SYSTEM AUDIT TRAIL
| You can activate an audit log which will capture system usage information,
such as who ran what program, at what date and time. |
CUSTOM GENERAL LEDGER REPORTS
You can create as many customized financial statements as you desire
| Reports can combine many account numbers into one line |
| Separate an account (by percentage) into one or more lines on the report |
| You can change the account description |
| The report setup is done once, then run by menu selection during month end
processing |
| Department schedules can be defined, and run automatically at month end |
| Supports up to 999 departments |
| Multi company or divisional data bases can be combined for consolidated
financial reporting |

| You can set up configuration windows which prompt order entry personal
thru complex customer order selections. |
For EXAMPLE, you
sell Personal Computers. Some example of selection windows might be:
- CPU
Speed, list all options

Monitor
Size 15" 17" 21" etc

Disk
Size... etc
Each window lists predefined options for the group, the operator selects one or more from each group, determined by your setup rules.
DEVELOPERS TOOLKIT
| Using our in house 4th GL screen painting tools, you will be able to
modify screens to your unique requirements. |
| Most screens used by Data Entry or Display programs were created using a
SCREEN PAINTER and integrated DATA DICTIONARY. This allows a high degree of
customization as to screen content. |
| NEW Custom VIEWS can be created in minutes and added to the menu. This
allows YOU to decide what information in a data base is accessible to a
user, or department. READ ONLY views are supported. |
ODBC
| Any ODBC compliant program can be executed from a
Myte
Myke menu, and can be used to directly access the
Myte
Myke data base. |
| Access, Excel, and MS Word are some examples of software which can be used
to look at your corporate data, to create mail merge letters, spread sheets
from the general ledger, or custom reports using ANY information contained
in the data base. |
| The resulting "programs" can then be added to the Myte
Myke menu
system to become an integral part of your customized software solution. |
